Happy New Year 2009!

***Yaay - a Happy New Year to you!***

I wish everybody luck, health, love and success for 2010. I came up with the idea of a Wellness New Years Eve and here we go - my Mam and I. We bought horoscope magazines, white truffle pralines, golden nail polish, chocolate facial masks and sparkling whine. This is going to be a great girly event for us two^^ (or so I wish, of course my brothers will be around, trying to blast the house with their firecrackers - more than 500 of those, dear me). Hmm, my plans for 2010? I do not smoke and I am content with my weight, so....
  • I will limit the amount of money I spend on clothes! (Bohooo)
  • I will make new friends and enjoy to meet my old ones
  • I will eat in a French bakery
  • I will go to a new disco (L.V.)
  • I will achieve my career goals
  • I will attend a wedding (not my own-lol)
  • I will search for classic Coco Chanel earrings
  • I will take blogging videos (uh uh)
  • I will sketch at least once a month
  • I will watch Alice in Wonderland in 3D
  • I will complet one of my DIY projects in spring
  • I will organize a summer picnic at the park for my friends
  • I will...keep a timer to catch up with my countless aims^^
Here my outfit for New Years Eve (or so I wish^^):

Dress (Rubina) and bag (Giselle) by Monsoon. Heels by Louboutin.
The necklace is from

Have a wonderful time! Kisses and Hugs!

Wicked Wonderland Show 2009

No plans for tomorrow night? Then consider traveling to the Esprit Arena in Düsseldorf (Germany) and watch the Wicked Wonderland Show 2009! Their promotion looks very promising!
Appears to be a theatre/music/light/entertainment show vaguely inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Their trailer and making of indicate a great show with extraordinary costumes and special effects! I would definitely love to go there!
*Click here* for their homepage. The trailer below is from their last show in Amsterdam (2009).

Mango Winter Lookbook 2009/2010 + model talents + bargains

Scarlett Johansson for Mango.

Leigh Lezark (left) - awesome kittens!

Riley Keough ("Miss Dior Cherie"!!!) with a gorgeous cherry clutch.

Sheer coolness (Leigh Lezark).

On my wishlist: This jacket!, worn by Riley Keough.

***Lilly's favourites from Mango fall/winter 2009/2010***
For the previous collections Mango worked with Penelope Cruz and her sister, now it's time for Scarlett Johansson and newcomer Leigh Lezark! Leigh works as Djane in New York and forms part of the band The Misshapes...due to her dark gothic-like appearance she is known as The Vampire Princess. Riley Keough worked previously for Dior's ad of Miss Dior Cherie ("Moi je joue..."). Also part of the Mango fashion crew: Marie Ange Casta, younger sister of French model Laetitia Casta!
Mango fascinates me with their elegant patterns and beautiful accessoires! If you are shopping on a budget (like me), a Mango dominated wardrobe seems unaffordable, but their pieces are worth saving up for! If you have no clue how to spend your Christmas money yet, visit their Online Shop and pay attention to the sale section^^ (example below). I prefer little Mango evening bags (bought my first one in Spain, yaayy!!) and their jackets. Scarlett makes a wonderful model. Hey, she even published her first CD! Is this girl able to do anything? Apparently. Enjoy your day and stay tuned for more!

E.g. dress Primita by Mango Outletshop (21,- Euro).

High heels by Mango Outletshop (21,- Euro), on my wishlist!

Mon petit manteau rose

Lilly wears: manteau ca, hat hm, bag budapest, jeans mister&lady, gloves vintage, boots varese.

Aujourd'hui madame rêve de Paris...
May I proudly introduce? My soft pink manteau. Wearing it makes you feel like a princess^^. Shooting took place pre-snowing. I opted for an outdoor shooting, because the usual 'yellow door' setting is out of the question. You guess what happened? During shooting we had like fifteen people walking by or directly ran into the picture ( including bikes, dogs and mums with their little children). Under this conditions I wished to be back inside-LOL! Big thanks to FJ, who did his best ("Wah, it's blurry again...pleeeze take one more! The sun is so strong-my eyes are closed!!"). Fashion blogging has its hardships!!
My friends refer to this hat as "the cauliflower"- that says it all (German: Blumenkohl).

Funny gift idea for men (I'll remember this one for next year!!)^^
Another present included organic rose hand créme, organic shower lotion and bathing substances.

Hi my lovelies!
Hopefully everyone spent a wonderful Christmas! I will take the time today to share the presents I bought for my beloved ones. My own where vaguely based on topics around fashion and make-up (LOL, no surprise). Are you happy with your presents? Any funny accidents on Christmas? I survived it and it turned out to be a festive and great event. (Even the tree is beautiful^^). Tomorrow we will prepare to visit relatives...so I'll be off until Monday. My throat is getting better bit by bit. After all the stress you feel, that....all the Christmas preparations have been worth it!!!
Lovely greetings and please enjoy the second day after Christmas!

The One Rose by D&G feat. Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson for D&G (Source).

Gorgeous, very stylish dress (Source).

The official D&G rose (Source).

Ring inspired by the perfume (Source).

New perfume by D&G: The One Rose. The commercial with Scarlett Johannson did not meet my expectations, but the dress makes up for this! Above also the original rose where the scent has been extracted from. Did you like the ad? Pearly pink^^.

My sister made cookies today and slept in really long, trying to recover *cough*. Excited about tomorrow! (Do I need to point out that still like a million of things is missing?? E.g. the device for holding the tree...). My brothers complained that I used up two rolls of gift wrapping paper (for whom do they think I used most of the paper??!). Hopefully everybody likes his/her present! Kisses and hugs, spend a woderful Christmas tomorrow, right?

Peek into Grandma's surprise packet

The white packet (left) contains Stollen, the national German Christmas cake (organic!!) from Dresden.

On the right German Lebkuchen (another speciality) from Nuermberg (famous for this product)^^.

German Vanillekipferl (sand tarts).

Organic Dinkel Muesli (spelt cereal) and gorp.

And everything....yaay^^.

Snowwhite's apple?

It's the most wonderful time of the year...just look at all this gathered deliciousness in this packet!!
Seems I could be spending Christmas in bed after all...having a serious headache and still a sore throat. But today finally Grandma came and this is - as you can maybe tell from your own experience - a special medicine. So I had cookies and hot elder juice (supposed to work like hot lemon^^).
Tomorrow presumably all hell will break loose...one day before Christmas we realize what is still missing for the big day and everyone will get a list with jobs that are more or less realistic to fulfill in the left time. I will try to get some sleep^^ - see you tomorrow and stay relaxed!

Stylish. Independent. Fabulous.

That describes The Blogettes, a fashion blogger magazine by Mirjam (Chic&Schlau) and Julia (Fanfarella). The concept contains high quality fashion shootings, blogging advice, give-away contests, fashion event calendar, local street styles and blogger portraits with focus on new faces. Congratulations to the launch of the first issue! I am looking forward to the next one, as I am convinced this will set new standards to what we associate with fashion blogging!
Click here to check the first issue:
*The Blogettes* .(available in German only)
It's totally worth it even if you do not understand German!
Next issue will be published on March 6th, so make sure to keep the link^^.
Lovely greetings,

Stylish lavender holiday decoration

Hi to everyone! Yaay, I finished wrapping the gifts....relief!!. Currently I am also studying to take a foreign language test at the end of January. Today I found out that the book I borrowed from the library to work with is too easy and I need something advanced...with my own library out of reach at the moment. Well organized, lady! Our Christmas tree is enormous! Like around 3 metres in height! (Which means that my youngest brother cannot decorate it on his own without creating chaos).
How do you like the lilac Christmas decoration? Definitely I will go for that on one of the upcoming years. As for this year, our tree will have multi-coloured decoration^^. At the moment I am not able to dress fashionable at all: everyday's game is to dress with as much layers as possible, because it's freeeezing!!. I am wearing a shapeless grey Greek sheep whool cardigan and look like the ugly sister of Little Bo Beep most of the time (Maybe that's worth a pic?).
Greetings from a very snowy town,
