*** Scabrous ***

I am sitting in front of my laptop with my second cup of Latte Macchiato today. On my social network I was confronted with this annoying advert. The catching phrase of their campaign says (translated) "Shopping without Swine flu - buy safely in our Online Shop!". Really, really bad taste guys! I see no point in using people's general fear to get infected for marketing purposes. This is a No Go! Come up with something better please.

Sorry, no Pictures!

Lilly wears: (coat hm, shorts orsay, tights+glasses ca,
heels marco tozzi)

Vintage shirt and silver shawl, bracelet/necklace from ebelin.

Gaga-Oh-La-La...Lilly passing of as Lady Gaga!

Dumplings for lunch: Hmmmm....

Today was rather lazy - I organized things for work and in the household. And *sneeeeze*, I am somehow infected with something (let's hope it is a ordinary flu and will disappear in a few days). For lunch I cooked my favourite dish: dumplings with forest mushroom sauce (a meal from South Germany). My mother makes the best dumplings (of course)^^. I ate so much that I seriously got a stomach ache. But it's all better now. I had my hair cut on Friday. In todays outfit I wear my hair in dumpling form (which is a coincidence, of course), so I'll upload a picture of the new lenght soon. Ahhh, again: *sneeeze*. FJ was making a fuss over taking the pictures, partly due to the fact that I won't tell him for what purpose we are shooting them! I guess I have to tell him sometime soon or he will strangle me out of curiosity...
I love that new shirt! Can't wait to wear it on a great night out with my girls^^. The new shorts are also depicted, I thought they would match well. Additionally from yesterday's prey: the black coat and the silver shawl. What do you think?
Love,

Lilly :D

Concerned

I am reluctant to bring that up in my blog, but I am very concerned. A girl I know (we usually share some lectures) got infected with swine flu and I am diffuse afraid of the next months. All of this could turn out to be okay, ...but the question upsetting me is what if not? I am aware that many people survived their infection and often it proceeds with light symptoms. Nevertheless it lies in the nature of viruses that their genome mutates quickly and adapts to their target. When should I get a vaccination and will there be enough of it? Will it help to protect the everyday life we are used to? The Spanish flu, occuring in the early 19th century costed many people around the world their life and has been rather harmless in the beginning, too. Today I tried to write a new outfit post, but I could not focus on it and it hurt to talk as if nothing were happening. Life is just so fragile and precious. I am sorry to bother you today with these thoughts, I deeply hope that all of my concerns will diminish soon and the whole issue gets better somehow without further victims. Are you vaccinated yet or considering it?
