Appears to be a theatre/music/light/entertainment show vaguely inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Their trailer and making of indicate a great show with extraordinary costumes and special effects! Sonia Rykiel is the new designer collaborating with HM. Yesterday the official show took place at Paris Grand Palais to launch her lingerie collection (going to be available on Saturday this weekend, yaay!), just before her knitted collection (which will come out in February next year). What you need to know: The idea was "Paris at night"...a gigantic blue lighted Eiffel Tower, a big wheel and a forest made of trees with balloons, a chairoplane for the guests and many little bars and shops with sugar cotton and candy. Watch the official video of the event here. I like the setting (lilac!pink!) of this show a lot! The last big HM show was in 2004 - such a luxurious event occurs only every few years.
What was special: The models were dancing instead of walking on a huge chandelier, a black horse, a swing and bed, which were driven along the catwalk similar to a parade. They all wore the Sonia Rykiel hairstyle (very fluffy hair). Obviously a show that must have been fun for the models, too!

Did not we see...? something similar before...Yes! The monopol for such a megashow was until yesterday tributed to Victoria's Secret anual show (read refering post here). Seems like the arena is open for more extraordinary, glittering fashion party shows to be thrown in the future - we love the idea!

This years Victoria Secret Fashion Show took already place last week on Thursday and is yet to be aired on December the 1st for the public. Beforehand, I would like to share my favourites from their wonderful, creative and inspiring show! See below for a video about the history of their popular angel wings. Every year there are more than 30 models walking for the label (among them the girls contracted by VS as official "Angels"), but only 12 wings are available and of course every girl hopes to get them! I missed those gigantic wings...this time they headed into another design direction with their wings altogether. Julia Stegner, a famous German model also walks for them. And also Heidi Klum, only six weeks after giving birth to her last child! This years design themes evolve around "Star Trooper","All Aboard", "Pink Planet", "Enchanted Forest" and "Romantic Journey".
I totally adore their products and I hope to be able to actually visit one of their beautifully decorated stores. Love,
