Blogging sisters: Typhaine's Cookies

French bloggers used to have a special place in my heart (Pandora, Alix, Betty, just to name a few). A few days ago, I found out that there is a new name on the "It-Girl"-list: Typhaine. Her blog is called Cookies, maybe because the real name is hard to memorize: Cuillére á Absinthe. With her remarkably coloured red hair and nearly 1000 readers, the girl has been featured in several style magazines already (including Japan). Take a look at a few of her outfits below: Convinced? Vegi is making German cookies called Betmännchen (mostly marzipan).

I was so happy baking those delicious Christmas cookies with Vegi! It took us the whole day and do not ask how the kitchen looked afterwards! We listened to Medieval Christmas chorals and gave every cookie its own design - meaning that there are no similar ones! We had little sugar hearts in pink, white and red, silver sugar pearls, food colours and little white snowballs...The best part of baking is definitely decorating! Thank you so much Vegi, for hosting me in your kitchen and the ultimate Christmas baking session!! Let's do it again next year, ok? (Her mum had a tooth-shaped cookie cutter (and we had it all covered with sugar!! Har har!!)). I will be packing my suitcase tomorrow to leave for my family home on Thursday!! This day is finally upcoming!

My very first Christmas Cookies

the most wonderful Christmas cookies ever!

We had music notes, mushrooms, stars and moons.

The kitchen was smelling so sweet^^.

We had black tea with milk and sugar!

Hi my Christmas angels! The holidays are closer every day and I am already finished with my present searching!! It is true, I just need to wrap everything lovely and with lots of ribbons. Additionally I found present cards saying "Get enchanted" with glittering letters^^. Above you see proof of my first Christmas cookies this year! I made them with Susu and her friend E. in Susu's kitchen. We worked with a shortpastry and added red grape juice to the sugar icing (turned out to be all pink^^) and lots of coloured sugar crumbles. The whole event was a great (and tasty) success - we had all three a stomach ache from nibbling the sweet pastry. Afterwards we had fun wildly decorating all cookies with food colouring. Such a happy afternoon^^.
