***Lilly's favourites from Mango fall/winter 2009/2010***

For the previous collections Mango worked with Penelope Cruz and her sister, now it's time for Scarlett Johansson and newcomer Leigh Lezark! Leigh works as Djane in New York and forms part of the band The Misshapes...due to her dark gothic-like appearance she is known as The Vampire Princess. Riley Keough worked previously for Dior's ad of Miss Dior Cherie ("Moi je joue..."). Also part of the Mango fashion crew: Marie Ange Casta, younger sister of French model Laetitia Casta!
Mango fascinates me with their elegant patterns and beautiful accessoires! If you are shopping on a budget (like me), a Mango dominated wardrobe seems unaffordable, but their pieces are worth saving up for! If you have no clue how to spend your Christmas money yet, visit their Online Shop and pay attention to the sale section^^ (example below). I prefer little Mango evening bags (bought my first one in Spain, yaayy!!) and their jackets. Scarlett makes a wonderful model. Hey, she even published her first CD! Is this girl able to do anything? ...is of course: breakfast. I noticed that I change my breakfast habits every few months completely. At the moment I am totally into wholemeal toast with mango marmelade and a cup of Japanese green tea (Sencha). Sometimes I add a tasty late summer peach. During breakfast I open the window, breathe the fresh and cool air and enjoy the first sunrays that make me slowly more and more awake. Everything is calm and the new day just started and lies in front of you...I love that! You should try mango marmelade, it tastes like heaven!

Hi^^. I love Saturdays...you know that there is still a free day ahead and there is plenty of time for all the little extra things you miss during the week. Emerald green or forest green are the new colours for the upcoming autumn/winter season. The depicted pieces above are definitely among my favourites! Green seems always mysterious and closely connected to nature. Like when you walk through an old forest and suddenly you discover a little pond that seems nearly magic with a emerald green surface...Ok, let's face it, I am very much into that "dressing-like-a-forest-fairy"-thing. Keep your eyes open for your own magic moment during your day!

New Basics

Hi^^. I am happy that my new bag arrived today from ebay!
My first Mango bag was from Spain and eversince I like their
bags, because they are of good quality and easily match with
everything^^. The top is also new and I am in love with the
bright colour which reminds me of spring and beautiful
cherry blossoms! :)
Since last autumn I took a liking for turtlenecks and have quite
a few now. During the cold weather period I prefer them to
pullovers, because they are often to warm for me.
On Thursday a friend told me that she actually finds turtlenecks
ugly and I thought about her critique and decided that I will keep
wearing them, because they are just my favourite basic pieces!!

By the way I eat too many marzipan eggs (Easter is coming) and
I enjoy to listen to this song the whole day all and all over again:
'Just Dance' by Lady Gaga!
