Medieval Fantasy Earrings by Vintouch

No end to shopping tipps this week -haha^^. But you'll agree at the sight of those handmade pieces of jewellery that they are something special! Found in the (private) Online Shop Vintouch - handmade and inspired by medieval artwork. Prices are reasonable! Below my shop favourites:

Flower design with coloured pearls.

Blue and gold - is there a better combination? The symbols at the pendants look mysterious.

A little more oriental: hearts and pearls.

~*~

Anything more? Yeah, I am quite annoyed with G**gle right now. When I logged into my blogger account this morning, they asked for my phone number to 'restore' my blog in case of sudden data loss. What a ploy - just yesterday I read that they are focusing now on collecting cell phone data from people and that they are already able to locate you/your phone via the number. I am really unhappy with this (and did not give my number of course). Don't give yours if they ask! With the whole G**gle Street View thing going on, I am trying to get away from them as far as possible - which primarily means changing the search engine and reduced use of my g**glemail email adress. They are crossing the limit with their schemes...

Found on the Beach

Wandering the shore I found these beautiful ocean-coloured pieces of jewellery between the beach pebbles. Or so it seems ;)). A girl can dream... Anyways, I suddenly discovered my love for turquoise jewellery here and was happy to find these purchases.

Looks like a stone itself, doesn't it? A caramel coloured ring.

I wear this necklace nearly every day ♥. The inspiration came mainly from those pieces:

Many people here have extra curly hair (adorable!!).

Reminds me of the Black Pearl...yaay for Pirate jewellery!

Be you-nique...okay. This ad directly aimed at every fashionista's heart who already has everything and seeks for the perfect possibility to endulge herself with an extra washing machine for her beloved treasures! by smeg.

Scarlett Johansson for the Mango campaign 2010!

Exotic Treasures by Bamboo

"...endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful
have been, and are being, evolved." - Charles Darwin

I have a weakness for endangered wildlife - and I love jewellery.... so imagine my delight when I came upon those fine pieces in a local store and later explored the Online Shop from Bamboo Jewellery ( a Californian company). Above is only a small selection of my favourites, basically I adore everything they have! They offer from each design different versions like earrings, necklaces, rings etc.
Now I feel like I want to establish a small zoo in my jewellery case...lol. To start with, I'd choose the green sea horse and the blue rainforest frog. Or better my favourite butterfly, the blue Morpho♥? Bamboo operates as a green company and they recycle i.e. the silver they use for the jewellery. Find out more about their green standards here. Want to start looking for your own favourites? Click here. Time to get back to work :). Happy Monday everyone!♥

Accessorize Lookbook SS 2010

This bikini is a dream!

A little much jewellery for a comfortable beach outfit, but who cares...

How cute is this car! We want!!!

Can I please have one of these perfect bags?

I went to my first Accessorize store in Athen/Greece. Since them I am enamored with their multi-coloured designs for jewellery, bags and clothes. The only reason why I don't buy their stores empty is the in comparison high price range! But looking is for free^^. Their summer lookbook just had to be posted! The atmosphere is really happy-go-lucky. There is also a Accessorize store here in our mall. Last time I got there with D. and we found a cute anchor necklace for her!

Extraordinary Jewellery at Nerdbirds

I have a definite weakness for special jewellery pieces! So here are my favourite choices from the Online Shop Nerdbirds. Every fashionista can find unique picks to suit her individual style. My top 3:
  • Bird Cage necklace
  • Strawberry necklace
  • Snow Flake earrings
I am still fighting against my cold with like a thousand cups of tea (this gives a real experience about a crazy "tea party" - you know what I am talking about...). Tomorrow will be great: finally I'll hand in my long-prepared assignment and meet with KV to go shopping...erhm, I mean to drink coffee (seriously, my wallet is stitched up momentarily and not going to be opened for any (fashion-related) reason). So, tea anyone?
Cordially, your

PS: Please note that this is an unpaid post. I am sharing this because I adore their jewellery.

I am deceiving winter!

Shopping Outfit. Blazer and hat from Vintage market, shirt from Only,
jeans from Mister&Lady Jeans, boots by Marco Polo. Love this outfit!!

Just suffered my second shock today. First one was looking out of the window this morning: everything is covered in snow again (despite the fact that snow finally disappeared completely yesterday - grwwnn). Second: Blogger wouldn't let me post, just found out that there is something amiss with the new editor. Hopefully this is resolved soon.

My cell phone broke (without any mistreatment!!), therefore I went into the city. Sadly, it can't be repaired. At H&M I tryed on this:
Okay, this is merely basic and all. But you know what? I totally deceived winter! Do I care that there a minus degrees outside? Nope! Can't you already feel a little sunshine?
So these two pieces had to go home with me^^. Promised, this is not a delayed effect from winter blues. Check on my vintage finds (last post) and you'll discover more summer stuff there. I will be needing it very soon - ssht! The secret will be revealed soon^^.

I hit upon a jewellery sale in one of our major department stores and this is what I found additionally:

Mint is one of my prefered colours lately (slight association to spring daffodils, anyone?). I was magically drawn to this necklace, because it reminded me of a story from Greek mythology.

Persephone, daughter of Zeus and Demeter, gets abducted by Hades, God of the Underworld, to live with him as his wife. Her mother comes to retrieve her, but it is said that you can only leave hell, if you refrained from their food. Unluckily, Persephone ate four pits from a pomegranate ("Granatapfel") - they are deep red and shaped like the ones in the necklace. Due to this incident, she had to stay in the underworld with Hades. The legend has it, that she was allowed to leave hell for several months every year to live with her mother Demeter. Those are the months, when everything is green and blossoms outside. Beautiful, isn't it?

Fresh and new and sparkling

Pure Love - the new H&M Spring Catalogue finally arrived and I am head over heels for this bracelet and all the other precious pieces below. This season is going to be wonderful, can't you tell?
My new key bracelet, as sure as the sky is blue.

Catalogue Cover (of the German Edition).

My favourite outfit (price in Euros).

I wasn't that much into jumpsuits - until I saw this one!
Add heels and you have a whole outfit!

This gorgeous model was already *sold out*, (can you believe
it?!), as I found it. I adore pieces that are classical and can
be worn with everything - like this one. Maybe I get a
second chance to buy them?

These are in gold/pink - like my dream shoes! I will have to keep
admiring them forever, because I had to *sadly* realize that
they are not fitting my wardrobe or the occasions in my daily life.
They are luxuriously elegant and a little over the top. True admiration!

Now I have to skip back to my books. The blogs of my friends are the only entertainment at the moment - and my strawberry-yoghurt-chocolate!
Love and until soon,

This ain't gonna break me

Saturday's going out make up. (First make up pic, lol).

Hi gals, I think I did well on last Saturday's exam. So there a just five more to go in February! Ha ha ha... It started to snow again. Such a pity that I cannot wear skirts at the moment...please spring, do not make me wait anymore! Just a bit above zero would be enough. I tend to slip out on icy surfaces a lot.
After the exam, I went shopping (only two hours, that can not be counted as a shopping trip^^). Here is what I found (below). Welcome February!!!

Close-up of my new favourite necklace (by New Yorker,
inspired by fashiontoast).

Upper belt for me (by Karma), lower one is the b-day present
for my little sis (by New Yorker). Hush!

Finally! After a search for weeks, I found warm black
overknees (have been removed from the shops due
to incoming spring collections) and a black rose ring
(both by Osix).

I showed these earrings in January, now they are
customized from silver into gold with the golden Manhattan
Lotus Effect nail polish. Earrings from Madonna.
I strongly recommend this nail polish for colouring
experiments!^^

Fashionology and Les Jumelles

Seeking for extraordinary jewellery? Check out Fashionology. I appreciate that the pieces are mostly animal-inspired or (as above) feature crosses and the like. I am especially digging this Eiffel tower necklace!!
Rumi from Fashiontoast owns a similar ring like that in the third picture (you seem to get those only rarely in ordinary shops). By the way, fashionology ships internationally!
If you are more into astonishing vintage jewellery, this is your shop: Les Jumelles. Their Alice in Wonderland necklace with a bottle saying "Drink me" is sure to become a classic among fashionistas.
I fancy the Paris je t'aime Collection!
Now I am getting back to work. Lots of love, spring's just around the corner, promised!

The key of space and time

My new key necklace (from Six).

Has a pretty soft pink ribbon!

Hidden treasures (Source).

Futuristic key - maybe makes you able to fly? (Source)

Ancient letters - bearing a secret? (Source).

Keys are magical. It is decisive if you have one or not. What could be more terrible than a locked door, closet or casket? Or maybe it is a key to love, to happiness, to success? Sometimes you might like to give the key to your own heart to somebody. Or you are desperately trying to open somebodys heart and fail, because you cannot find the key. Keys promise the owner influence and power. They can open the owner what he/she desires or lock something savely away forever.
My key is also special. (Apparently my new necklace has three keys - the biggest one is my favourite!) I love to wear key necklaces and also have another one (more plain). This one instantly catched my eye and I had to have it, because it perfectly resembles the key of space and time!

You do not believe me? Then watch the video below and get indulged in childhood memories. It was only available in Japanese, but that does not matter, you will recognize this famous scene right away!
Any fans under my readers?

[Scene from Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: Chibiusa is owner of the key, which is able to teleport through space and time.]
For now, I'll dream of traveling to other dimensions^^.
Love to you all,
